Job Details

The Director of Sales for Trimac Energy will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding Trimac Energy's market presence. This individual will lead and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious sales goals, foster client relationships, and develop strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives. The Director of Sales will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep understanding of the energy sector, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to develop informed sales strategies.
• Identify and address the unique needs of energy sector clients, such as fuel logistics, safety compliance, and sustainability goals.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with energy companies, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to strengthen Trimac Energy’s market position.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive market growth, expand client base, and increase revenue.
• Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to optimize their performance and support professional growth. Set performance goals, monitor results, and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to keep Trimac Energy at the forefront of industry changes.
• Work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align sales strategies with broader company objectives.
• Work with the Risk Management team to ensure that all contracts and agreements adhere to sector-specific safety, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Track and report on sales performance metrics, analyze data to identify improvement areas, and present insights into senior leadership.
• Oversee the sales budget, including forecasting, expense control, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or other relevant graduate degrees are preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the energy or transportation sector.
