Job Details

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the objective of this position is to drive revenue growth and enhance market presence by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives across intermodal services, wash rack operations, and shop services. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that align with customer needs and organizational goals.

 

This role interacts with senior management, internal departments, legal counsel, operating terminals, front-line managers, external agents, industry representatives, competitors, and key contacts with current and potential customers.

• Advanced working skill of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and Power Point

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue and market share in intermodal services, wash rack operations, and shop services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell across intermodal, wash rack, and shop service offerings.
• Collaborate with operations teams to align customer needs with service capabilities, ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the intermodal, wash rack, and shop sectors.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
• Drive business development initiatives by generating leads, pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding the client base across assigned verticals.
• Track and report sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership for continuous improvement in intermodal, wash rack, and shop sales performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role 
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field. 
• Proven experience in business development, sales or related field
