Service Manager

As a Service Manager at Feldspar, you’ll lead the operations of our shop terminal. You’ll ensure your team have the tools and procedures to work safely and efficiently. You will work closely with the trucking terminal manager to ensure equipment is scheduled and maintained within DOT compliance and Feldspar/Trimac standards.

This role reports to an Area Manager and interacts with Mechanics, Truckline Terminal Manager, leadership, back-office functions and customers.

• Strong leadership and communication

• Good knowledge of the maintenance industry

Team & Operations

• Guide mechanics with clear procedures and safety standards
• Work cohesively with Truckline TM
• Manage terminal P&L
• Address team concerns and improve efficiency
• Inventory Management

Commercial Business

• Develop and manage commercial shop and accounts
• Track revenue and report performance against goals
• Ensure customer requirements are met and communicated

Compliance

• Ensure DOT compliance of equipment
• Ensure equipment and processes meet regulatory standards
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance
