The Associate, People Systems & Analytics is responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks including managing data through the HR system, managing safety renewals and overall support for the HR Team. This role is fast paced and allows for a high amount of exposure to various areas of a multi-faceted HR team.
• Strong decision making and critical thinking abilities.
• Able to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload and time sensitive deadlines.
• High attention to detail required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments
• Human Resources background specifically in privacy, document management and best practices for hiring and onboarding.
• Reporting experience is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Experience using HRIS (UKG or another related system) and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Experience working with a remote workforce across Canada and the US considered an asset.
• Experience in HR Reporting would be an asset.
• Maintain area transactions including hiring, terminations, transfers, status changes etc.
• Administers human resources policies and procedures.
• Manages driver expirations including driver’s licenses, abstracts, and other renewal documents.
• Responsible for a range of administrative tasks such as responding to employment verifications and creating letters of employment for current employees.
• Manages work relationships and fields requests from an employee base that is found across North America and through various time zones.
• Reviewing workforce data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Perform periodic audits to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Facilitates and/or provides training to the workforce.
• Assists with system improvements and other overall team projects.
• Human Resources Degree or Diploma preferred
• Preference is given to candidates who have obtained or are pursuing HR Certification
• A minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role
