Job Details

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment in support of Trimac’s Corporate and Administrative functions. Partnering closely with senior leaders, including members of the executive team, this role delivers a consultative, high touch recruitment experience while ensuring hiring practices are efficient, compliant, and candidate focused.

 

Operating in a fast paced and evolving environment, the Talent Acquisition Specialist supports professional, and campus hiring initiatives and contributes to continuous improvements in recruitment processes, systems, and the overall candidate experience. This role reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and works closely with People & Culture, Hiring Leaders and Shared Services teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruitment for Corporate, Administrative, and professional roles across the organization
  • Partner with senior leaders to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and timelines
  • Provide consultative guidance to hiring leaders on sourcing strategies, market insights, and hiring best practices
  • Deliver a high quality, consistent candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance
  • Support campus recruitment initiatives including internships, co-op programs, and early-career hiring
  • Proactively source talent using multiple channels including LinkedIn, ATS, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard to fill roles
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives as required
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with federal, provincial/state, and industry specific regulations
  • Support standardized and scalable recruitment processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and audit ready recruitment records
  • Partner with People & Culture, People Operations & Systems, and Shared Services teams throughout the hiring process
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve recruitment processes, tools, and the overall candidate experience
  • Stay current on recruitment best practices, labour market trends, and sourcing techniques

Qualifications

  • A degree and/or diploma in Human Resources or Commerce/Management, combined with 3-5 years of Talent Acquisition experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting Corporate or professional recruitment preferred
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executive stakeholders considered an asset
  • Exposure to campus or early career recruitment programs preferred
  • Strong sourcing, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills
  • Experience working in fast paced or high-volume environments is an asset
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology
