Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

This position is responsible for:

 

  • Developing and growing the profitability of multiple branches in a geographical area;
  • Finding continuous improvement in efficiencies to achieve financial targets;
  • Leading Terminal Managers in their area;
  • P&L responsibility for their area;
  • Assisting truckline operations to meet to exceed the service performance requirements of eternal customers; Setting and achieving 4DX commitments and targets; with a strong focus on operational efficiency and cost management—particularly within key cost buckets.
  • Overseeing and regulating the day-to-day operations in their area;
  • Developing and preparing operation plans, programs, budgets and forecasts;
  • Ensuring the most effective utilization of facilities, equipment and manpower using continuous improvement tools;
  • Creating and maintaining positive relations with our customers; and
  • Establishing and maintaining the necessary operational systems and procedures and maintain limitations and controls.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

 

  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of management/operations experience in the transportation business.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
